Error upgrading FireSIGHT Management Server (Virtual)

I just installed a fresh image of the FireSIGHT Management server virtual machine, version 5.4.0. I'm now trying to patch it up to 5.4.1.8. However, when I try to install/run the patch file, it fails with the error:

Update Installation Failed : [19%]

Fatal error: Error running script

200_pre/007_check_sru_install.sh

I've tried running the 5.4.1 and the 5.4.1.8 patches and they both fail with the same error.

Has anyone experienced this? Any thoughts or suggestions on what I can do to get the patches to install?
