The URLs defined on the URL Blocking windows described previously are either always allowed or always disallowed. The URL filtering feature, however, allows you to filter URLs in categories, which you can schedule to allow access during certain times, such as leisure and work time.

There are six URL filtering categories as follows:

Company-prohibited

Not work related

Research topics

Business function

Customer defined

Others

Is it possible to configure the ASA Content Security and Control SSM module to filter URL's based on a username or group of users

David,

This functionality is not posible yet, but based on information provided by ask the expert on SSM modules content filtering this function to url filtering based on usernames or groups could be posible in future SSM modules code releases. Best way to find out when probably by contacting your cisco rep.

Regards
