It will support

ssh rsa/dsa key-based authentication. If you

need additional security on top of the key,

you can include the pass phrase as well:

gen2Linux:/tmp>ssh -l root 192.168.1.1

Last login: Thu Jun 26 16:45:28 2008 from 192.168.1.2

[Expert@Checkpoint-fw]#

I want to backup ASA configuration automatically, for example, once a day.

I guess, I should use something like passwordless ssh to my ASA and run something like "save config and scp it to remote linux serer".

Is there some article/howto that can help me?

For example, even after reading a few cisco manuals I still don't understand how to configure passwordless key-based ssh access to ASA.

thanks

Vitaly
