are IP address groups supported on Nexus-5000 and lower models?

While looking at online documentation I see that object-group ip address is explicitly listed as

supprted command on Nexus-7000 but on other models documentation is confusing.

For example, for Nexus-5000 references to IP address group objects for source/destination of deny command exist in documentation for older versions of NX-OS 4.0 and 4.1 (at the same time no explicit object-group command is listed in same CLI reference) but in current v5.x source/destination does not show IP address group as available choice.

Can any one with access to Nexus-5000 or 3000 verify if object-group ip address is valid command on that platform?

It appears full support (just like on IOS) for using IP Address groups was introduced only in NX-OS v6 (which only runs on 7000 platform).

Are there plans to make this also available on lower models?

This feature is not currently supported on N5k/N3k

If you have some specific requirements to implement this feature please reach your account team to describe your network design. And they will be able to help you.
