Hello Muhammad

Secure Shell (SSH) is a protocol which provides a secure remote access connection to network devices. Communication between the client and server is encrypted while telnet does not encrypt the information it sends. Everything is sent in plain text, even passwords. It is not advisable to use telnet over the Internet.

In another word if someone is on the same network and has he opened data capturing with Wireshark and you opened a telnet connection he can easily capture your passwords but if you used SSH than everything will be encrypted so he will not see anything.

Hope it will help

Ahmed Sonba

I like the quote. This is real inspiration

"Everybody is genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is a stupid."
