      <title>ASA LOAD SHARING</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have one ASA 5520. This ASA and 2 other routers are connected to a switch and they are in same subnet as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I create 2 default routes in ASA and point to these 2 routers. ( Pls note that both default routes are pointing to same outgoing interface).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After creating this , i can see both routes installed in ASA's routing table. But its not loadbalancing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ASA is transmitting through only one path. So i was wondering , is there anything which switching mechanism can do like routers?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Like CEF, what is the swithcing mech: used in ASA to switch the packets from incoming to outgoing interface?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anyone try to help in this??&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Vibin.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
