Hi,

Is this true?

When I have a well configured and tuned IPS device I can't copy the setting to a group from that?

What if I want to use IPS MC instead of IDM and want to install another IPS device on the same system with the same config. I can't push the signature setting from the good configured device into a group and put the new device into this group to inherit the config from the good configured group?

Regards:

Tamas

No, you can't, sorry. It seems like that would be a VERY useful feature to have, but you can not copy some of the most detailed settings, like signature tunings from sensor to group. We have asked for this feature many times. What makes matters worse, is there is NO way to move your group settings to another VMS server. That is going to be fun when VMS goes EOL next year and we all have to move to CSM and MARS.
