Hi Everyone,

I would like to know about update rule FIreSight so the last rule update is covered previous update ?

#for my client is last update previous year in Mar (sw_version: 5.3.1.3 model FS3500)

Hi,

Yes, the last rule update covers the previous update as well but it would be good if you set to update rules automatically so that it takes the latest one on its own from the site.

A new SRU (new signature

A new SRU (new signature database) contains the new rule/ modified rules. You can track the New/Modified Rule in the IPS Policy and status of those new rules.
