I accidentally entered in the wrong information when going through the session sfr console first time configuration wizard. I'd like to run that wizard again, as I am too much of a noob to enter this info in manually on our 5506 Cisco switch. How do I run this again?

Hi,

Might be fastest to re-image the sfr module, what wen wrong?
You can use "configure network ?" for some settings.

re-image the device:
ciscoasa# sw-module module sfr recover configure image disk0:/<boot file name that you have loaded onto ASA flash - it is an "img" file type>
ciscoasa# sw-module module sfr recover boot

br, Micke

I entered in the wrong network information and I don't know the ASA OS well enough to change it manually. This is the following information that I need to change:

Enter an IPv4 address for the management interface:

Enter an IPv4 netmask for the management interface:

Enter the IPv4 default gateway for the management interface:

Enter a comma-separated list of DNS servers or 'none':

I figured restarting that wizard would be quickest. If I re-apply the sfr image, will the firewall need to be rebooted, or just the sfr image?

Thanks,
