Can I reboot my FMC at any time without affecting my FTD's? This would be in a production environment and I don't want to have any disruption of service, Internet, etc......

Thanks

Hi
Normally yes you can, but if you have integration with AMP or ISE then that would cause an issue. If you don't then you can reboot the FMC, the FTD's would carry on working and log locally.

HTH

Thank you for the quick response. We have no ISE integration and we do have AMP, but it is for networking and not for endpoints. Do you think that would still cause an issue?
Thanks

Yes, that would cause an issue. If using AMP for Networks and a file needs to be checked, the FMC would send the file to the AMP Cloud for a disposition check. It's probably best you reboot the FMC out of hours.

HTH

if you have integrated with single sign authentication with AD so your user will not be authenticated when new request will come to FMC and will found some internet connection issue.

This is the case what i have observed in AD Environment .
