topic AD integration with FMC in Network Security

Hello,

There is a problem with FMC and Active Directory.

Sometimes when synchronizing I get the following error:

"xxx/xxx (xx%) User unrecognised", where x is a number.

I believe that this is related to some complaints that the users suddenly get disconnected from the network and they have to restart their PC to gain access again.

I checked the agent in the AD servers and it is connected. Also, in the FMC in the groups of the realm, the users are downloaded succesfully when I perform it manually.

Have you encountered any similar situation? What could I look for?

Thanks and regards,

Konstantinos

Actually when you do AD integration - You are doing integration with FMC so FMC should be reachable always , and for this specific error i cannot comment but i can recommend you to run latest released software for FMC and FTD both device .

IF you are using 6.2.3 -- it is better to go with 6.2.3.13 please check release note before doing update

Hello,

The problem reappeared today. There were several users unable to access the internet. In the "events", they showed as Unkown. They performed a restart of their pc, but the problem persisted. After a manual "User Download" the problem was solved.

Do you have any hint?

Regards,

Konstantinos
