Fail-over only license to Standard firewall

Hi Team

I have a firewall with a Fail-over only license and would want to use it as a standard firewall what should I do.How can i achieve this ?? If achievable at all.

Failover Only (FO) license must work with a Unrestricted unit (UR) license, in other words if you try configuring this FO only firewall it will not work correctly becuase it will need that other arm the (UR Firewall unit), the FO is meant to work in an active/standby architecture, one is FO and the other UR.

If you want to use it as a regular firewall as an unrestricted unit which can work by itself then you need to convert the FO unit into (UR) unit, you have to buy that license.

To convert from FO to UR you will need:

part# PIX-515-SW-FO-UR=

This is assuming you have a PIX 515/515E, any other models within the 500 series see link for details
