topic Changing default Webvpn homepage in Network Security

I've setup an SSL VPN on an ASA 5520 running 8.2(2).

When users login via the Webvpn it defaults to the download vpn client screen for anyconnect, I'm trying to change this behavior so that it defaults to the portal homepage instead.

I've verified the group policy that the user is using is correct, and within the group policy there's a Default Post login Selection option, this is set to Go to Clientless VPN portal, but when the user logs in it's still going to the any connect download screen.

Anyone got any ideas why this is happening and how I can change it go straight to the portal homepage?

Thanks.

Hi Simon,

If you double-checked that the user was assigned to the group-policy where the default post login selection is the portal (sh vpn-sessiondb webvpn will give you this info), you might want to check the Dynamic Access Policies configured and that your user would match.

As you can see from the following screenshot:

You can also change the access method from a DAP and that would override the group-policy setting.

Hope this helps,

Nicolas
