CSM Problem

Folks,

When I import a config for a router from a notpad file and try to push it to a device, it automatically shutsdown the interface??? I made sure I put a no shut on all interfaces in the config file before importing it too csm, but when csm pushes it to the device, it does it with a shutdown option, is it a bug??? I am running 3.1. Please help, will surely rate this post.

Did you try doing this through a "flexconfig" option?

OR perhaps put the 'no shut' as the last (or first) command in the text file e.g.

int gig 0/0

ip nat inside

....

no shut

I had "no shut" as the last command under the interface, does it matter?

Normally NO, but with CSM anything is possible.

I would use the Flexconfig option with a 'no shut' just to test things out.
