topic PIX 515 & IPS? in Network Security

I'm having a hard time finding information on whether or not the PIX 515 does IPS. The product documentation states that it "Integrates with Cisco Network Intrusion Prevention System". Does this mean that it comes with the signatures or does you have to buy something else to get IPS? My goal is to purchase a device that does both firewall and IPS.

Thanks

Then you want the new Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) with an SSM module in it (which does IPS). The ASA runs the same v7.0 code as th ePIX, but is basically a PIX, IDS/IPS and VPN3000 concentrator all in one box, very cool box.

http://www.cisco.com/go/asa
