topic FTD Etherchannel with Sub-Interfaces in Network Security

Hello everyone.

I'd like some information about having subinterfaces on ASA running FTD and managed via FMC.

I'm currently attempting to optimize traffic usage, GBICs and flow with ASA connecting to a pair of Nexus switches (VPC running) and get them to establish an etherchannel and add sub-interfaces to it (on ASA side).

The etherchannel is currently up but whenever I attempt to add subinterfaces to it, it does not show the etherchannel as a viable option to create sub-interfaces (print attached).

Is that a limitation? I know that on ASA with Firepower its simple to be accomplished but I'm not sure if FTD has that feature.

Thanks in advance.

FIxed!

Created the interface as passive while I should've placed it as none.

After changing, the Etherchannel interface became available for subinterface creation.

Thanks
