I have an ASA5520 that as a problem.

It's like this… it drop packet in the outside interface and in the inside interface.

The inside interface of the firewall is connected to a switch that is not Cisco, and the outside interface is connected to a router (Cisco 2610).

The firewall (for now, for testing) as a policy of ACL's that let passes everything in both directions.

The outside interface is configured to auto negotiate the speed and the duplex.

The inside is fixed in 100M with full duplex.

In the file that I send there is some drops.

Can some one tell me what is happening?

What I have to do?

Thanks in advance,

      Rui

I have the exactly same problem. The differences are:

1. My ASA 5520 is connected both inside an outside to a non Cisco Switch, both interfaces auto ( the neggotiation goes 100 full )

2. The OS version is 8.0.3

I put these case in the TAC, im waiting for any answer. Also, im going to connect the ASA to a pair of 2950, just for eliminate possibilityes.
