    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;just to add to this...files in flash do not transfer over.  however the asa determines which asdm version to use via the "asdm image disk0:image.bin" command.  this command gets replicated.  so if both ASA have the appropriate asdm image file (which is a manual process) then you should be able to asdm to the secondary asa by putting its ip in the client.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Connecting to Failover ASA</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a pair of ASA 5540's and would like to connect to my secondary (failover) unit. Is it possible to do it without consoling in? I'm using Active\Standby with a LAN failover cable. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The reason is I upgraded the ASDM on the active one and not sure if it automatically replicates to the failover one.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;it does not automatically replicated to the secondary one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should be able to telnet/ssh/https to its failover IP. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
