We have a large scale DSL/VPN network, where our network management systems are tripped up by the DHCP public DSL addresses. We would like to prevent NMS from discovering the public interfaces altogether. However, there appears to be no way to do this on the NMS servers themselves. Is there a method in IOS to prevent the router from reporting interfaces by ifType or ifDescr?
