Hey all ! It's is possible to evaluate some cisco securiy products ? I would like to test VMS to manage IDS (4210) alerts. Currently i'm stuck with cspm 2.3 and sensor version 3.0 and we dont have any smartnet contract so no acces to upgrade or patch. I'm having some problems with CSPM and I know this product is "dead" so I would like to try a newer product.

I know we'll have to buy some smartnet if we keep doing instrusion detection with cisco products but I have to test before spending my boss money...

Thx all !

CDT

Yes can get evaluation software on the Cisco web site. The VMS software is located at http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center/cw2000/vms-planner.shtml. You will need a valid CEC username and password to get to the software.
