It will be in the flash with the PIX / ASA Boot image.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dir flash: &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if it is not present install the ASDM by downloading it from the cisco site. YOu may need a cisco login for this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;unable to lanuch asdm from 192.168.2.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the device 192.168.2.1 dose not have the apporpriate device manager image installed &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;check the version of your ASA...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sh ver&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if it is running a ASA 8.x then try downloading the ASDM 6.x &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you may have already downloaded the correct images but it was not loaded during startup. so try to verify if these configurations are present on your running config:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;boot system disk0:/asa802-k8.bin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;asdm image disk0:/asdm-602.bin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if not present, then enter those commands...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;rate if it helps &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
