IDS 4235 AAA configuration

Hi,

Is it possible to setup ACS AAA method on the IDS 4235?

If yes, Could you please tell me how can i setup it?

The sensor itself does not support AAA.

All accounts must be created and managed locally on the sensor.

However, VMS (Cisco Works) I believe does support AAA. If you primarily use VMS (IDS MC and Security Monitor) for managing the sensor, then this may provide you with what you need.

NOTE: VMS always connects to the sensor with a single username regardless of what user logs into VMS. So AAA can be implemented on VMS without having to implement it on the sensor itself.
