topic ASA 5520 SNMP - Interface Down ? in Network Security

It seems that every other day/night my Tivoli server (snmp) reports interface down on my inside ASA (V.7.2(2)),interface, however I see no sign of any issues with the int, the int is up and has being for months and failover has never kicked in, I've checked as much as I can on the ASA but can't find anything wrong - so why does Tivoli only ever see this int down and nothing else in same subnet.

Any ideas on the ASA would be appreciated. Thanks.

By your own description it does not sound like its the ASA, why would you doubt its logs?

I would look at Tivoli...

-did it get a trap or miss a poll?

-are the poll times to frequent?
