asa 5520 rebooting itself

hi,

we have recently moved to our newly configured ASA5520 from PIX, everything is correct and working fine, except that randomly ASA reboots itself without any message in the syslog. i can't seems to trace anything that what's causing it to happen..

ASA 5520 version 7.2(1)

Active/Active

IPS Module

even i doubt that there is any other factor causing it to reboot except something in software

has anyone every experienced it before, i tried googling but no specific answer.

this may be due to bug report # CSCse47150

check out this link ..if this applies to your case there is a workaround or code upgrade.

Hi,

I am also getting the same problem but only if we connect the cluster sync cable. Device is working fine if standalone but after connecting the 0/3 port it is rebooting in every minute.

Kindly suggest any solution.
