topic Upgrade ASA5505 (8.2) to 9.1 with factory reset device? in Network Security

I've read that the official upgrade path for ASA5505 8.2 to 9.1 is (8.2>8.4>9.1) due to major changes is configuration (NAT and ACL's?).

But if I haven't added anything yet (factory reset device), is it possible to upgrade to 9.1 directly? Or am I still required to go this way?

I have bought this ASA5505 from Ebay, for my personal use, to do some testing before I do any changes in our production enviroment at work.

I don't have any access to download firmware myself. But I do have the firmware from my work ASA (which runs 9.1.7). That's why I'm wondering if I can update this asa (running 8.2) to 9.1.7

Just if anyone else is wondering in the future. It faced no issues upgrading from 8.2 directly to 9.1.7

Notice that my ASA was factory reset before begining, so there was no other NAT or ACL's than the default ones.

I've also read somewere else that the upgrade path is for when you have NAT's and ACL's that you used previously that has to be converted to the new NAT.
