Hi mate,

I just read 5.4.1.3 release notes: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firesight/5404/relnotes/FireSIGHT-System-Release-Notes-version5404-and-5413.pdf

but I am not sure about full compatibility with your current version.
You either open a TAC case and get access to full documentation or you just back it up, update and worst case scenario you roll back. Of course within a maintenance window.

Upgrading Firepower Sensor v5.3.1.6

I have an ASA 5506-X with the Firepower module at v 5.3.1.6 (build 16) and a Sourcefire Defense Center running at v 5.4.1.3 (build 55). I know, these are both really old.

I've found all of the documentation on upgrading from 5.4.1 to 6.0 and beyond and I'm fine with that and have done that on another server.

My question is, can I upgrade the Firepower module from 5.3.1.6 to 5.4.1.3 or are there incremental updates I need to do? I can't find any documentation on this, probably because it is so old. And the oldest code I can download from the support site is 5.4.1.

Thanks for any help!
