Dear All

We are facing one problem with CiscoWorks VMS Server2.2 with securiy Agent console.. When we attempted to see CSA agents error page is opening .

Its giving error 500-Internal Server Error

In CSA agent ( CSAMC) log file we noticed the error

Fail to open Database connection . wil retry every 10000 ms seconds until successful.

Apache Server Error Log

we find tht in apache server log file. webagent.exe file was not running properly.

[Tue Jan 04 20:03:28 2005] [error] [client 10.15.1.34] (2)The system cannot find the file specified: FastCGI: failed to connect to server "d:/program files/cscopx/csamc/bin/webagent.exe": CreateFile()/WaitNamedPipe() timed out

If any further information required pl let me know.

try this.

net stop csagent

net stop crmdmgtd

delete/move all the *.lic files from c:\program files\cscopx\csamc\cfg

net start crmdmgtd

net start csagent

see if that helps

Dear Nadeem,

I tried as u said. but its giving me the same problem. I mean ,im still unable to see security agents alerts in my VMS Server. its all happening because of Apache1.3.27 server webagent. this apache process taking 55%of cpu time. Im unable to kill this Apache process .it says access denied. VMS is configured to recieve alerts from all cisco security agents which are deployed different locations in my WAN . Pls help me out.
