Extract sensor serial numbers using FMC API?

Hi all,

As per subject. Is it possible to GET the 'real' / hardware serial number for each managed device using the API?

(From CLI you would get this with the "show inventory" command)

My FMCs manages over 100 sensors so I would rather not do this manually. It would be nice if the API could do it for me but I'm not sure it can?

Alternatively, do you know the SNMP OID for the hardware serial number on a Firepower device (FTD5516-X etc)?

Hi Matty-boy,

I've just started looking at the FMC API and also couldn't find a way to obtain the serial number for managed devices. It would be useful. Hopefully someone will know...

One member recently posted that they were able to get it via performing a database query directly on FMC:
