The CSMARS signatures only get updated when you apply an upgrade package, so if you're running 4.1.4 you have the latest supported signatures (S216 for Cisco IPS for example). \When your SIM vendor and IPS vendor are different, this is understandable. I'm hoping one day Cisco will take advantage of the opportunity they have for releasing Cisco IPS and CSMARS signature updates concurrently.

MARS Signature Upgrades

I have seen various references in this forum and in Cisco documentation to upgrading the MARS signatures using the Admin>System Maintenance>Upgrade path. I am currently running release 4.1.4 and was wondering if there are signature upgrade packages and, if so, where to get them. I assume these upgrades are similar to the IPS signature files?

Thanks,

Frank
