Hi all,

I have 3 FWSM modules that I am going to install on 3 different 6509, I am configuring the 3 FW modules in transparent mode with two context in each FWMS module.

Do you know if it is possible to configure the following:

- FWSM A has context 1 active and context 2 active

- FWSM B has context 1 in standby (backup of context 1 in FWSM A)

- FWSM c has context 2 in standby (Backup of context 2 in FWSM A)

The 3 FWSM modules are installed on different switches.

Regards

Hi Vicente

To my knowledge you cannot have more than 2 FWSM's in an active/standby scenario.

I believe the problems would come when you come to configure failover on the active unit and try to specify 2 different standy units.

HTH

Jon
