Prior to the upgrade of SecMon/IPS MC 2.1, you were able to copy individual filters from one sensor within a group to a selected number of sensors in within a different group.

Group A  -->  Group B

Sensor1a      Sensor1b

              Sensor2b

Since the upgrade, it seams that when you select all the devices in the destination group, it automatically selects the "parent group" after the last sensor has been selected. After that, when you proceed to the next step, the option to copy a filter is not available.

You are only able to copy a filter, providing you do not select all of the sensors in the destination group.

Is there anyone else seeing this problem?

many thanks for your reply however the groups do have different names. My work around was to remove all the groups and move all the sensors to a single group.
