Hi,

The FMC 4000 is built on UCS server hardware so I think you can check the hardware status from the Cisco Integrated Management Controller. We had an issue with the Firmware before and did the upgrade through CIMC.

Hi guys, I would like to know if someone already encountered this issue.

My Security engine goes down stating that "thermal-problem"? Currently, i am using just 2x fan, is it because of that? how to check the temperature?

Thanks

Hi @Chess Norris, this is FP4110 appliance not FMC4000. May i know how to configure CIMC for the FP4110 appliance? i am only familiar with the UCS c220 m4 models.

Ah, I see. As far as I know, the CIMC is only for managing the FMC appliances. For the FTD 4100 I think you could check hardware status either via the chassis manager or through the FXOS CLI. Have a look here https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/fxos/fxos221/cli-guide/b_CLI_ConfigGuide_FXOS_221/introduction_to_the_firepower_security_appliance.html
