topic Catalyst AP 9136 to SD-Access Edge Node connection in Software-Defined Access (SD-Access)

As per SD-Access Compatibility Matrix for Cisco DNA Center 2.3.2.0 the Catalyst 9136 Access Point is compatible with the SD-Access solution. The Catalyst 9136 Access Point C9136 has two mGig uplink ports that could be configured in standalone mode (one active and one standby) or with LAG/LACP (both ports active).

In the SD-Access solution is it possible to use both the ports for connection to fabric edge nodes? Both in standalone and lag mode?

What is the suggested design and configuration in the SD-Access solution?

By default, the Access Point will be in standalone mode with only one Uplink working. If you want to enable LACP/PaGP, you can do so on DNAC and go on this menu (Depending on your version) : Provision > SD-Access > Fabric Sites > Click on your site, then click on the Fabric Edge connected to your AP, go to "Port Channel" tab and create a new Port-Channel in "Trunk" mode.
