Hello experts,

we deployed 9500 act as BNCP+EWC, the AP already joined to EWC but i cant see the AP's on DNA center inventory, i've got a couple questions, does the ewc software version needs to match to switch version ?, are there HA SSO configuration on EWC switch ? by default the AP's that joined the EWC will be on inventory DNA center right ?, there is no need to discover the AP ?

If the switch is already being monitored by DNAC then it will take several days for the AP to appear in DNAC.

What's the reason for AP need several days to appear on dnac ? , Why it's different with wlc appliance ?

I am not sure it will take several days. In the setups I have made with this whenever the APs was assosiated with the WLC/EWC(seen in the show commands on the WLC) it just required the DNAC to resync the configuration from the EWC.

The default resync interval is 1440 minutes = 24 hours. But if you can't wait then, run a resync from the inventory and you APs should be added to the inventory after some minutes.

Oh I am sure of it.

Over the weekend (Saturday), I personally installed 30 x 9130. All of them have joined to a 9800 and are serving clients.

DNAC (version 2.3.3.6) can only see 28 of them after 24 hours. As of today, Wednesday, 2 of those are still not there. I have done 2 x Discoveries and they are not to be found.

No, I did not report this feature to TAC.

In that case you must be hitting a bug. I have done the resync part many times with DNAC version 2.x.x.x and EWC 16.12.x adn 17.3.x

Our SE used to comment that we are "the only ones in the world" to have encountered this-or-that bug.

Standalone WLC is 17.9.3.
