topic Cisco Emergency Responder e911 deployment with SDA in Software-Defined Access (SD-Access)

Curious what other enterprises have done about CER in the SDA Fabric. Is everyone deploying a new fabric site for every location or subnet for each voice location so CER can properly identify the location when someone calls 911? This seems like an overlooked solution for an SDA deployment. I do not see anything in the CVDs or deployment documentation. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

We are running in to this too, especially with the Jabber soft client. How do you track where the client is when they can move all around a campus with laptops.

Yes I know others that have this same question. Apparently MS Teams calls
have a solution for this that is able to determine an AP or Switch MAC that
Teams call comes from and then they reference a table where these MACs are
located. It seems the CER is a bit behind the curve on this, hopefully
these concerns don't get overlooked in their roadmap. Seems like this
alone might be causing some market share to be shifted away from C-UC to
MS-T.
