Stealthwatch Running on Azure

Hello Stealthwatch Folks,

I'm trying to get an answer as to whether Stealthwatch SMC can be hosted on Azure. Azure runs Microsoft Hyper-V. I've not been able to get a clear answer on this question.

HI Alex,

Currently SMC does not support Azure yet, work is in progress to support Microsoft cloud.

So clarification question: You folks are stating: 'Currently SMC does not support Azure yet'.

I'm trying to find out if SMC runs on Azure (or MS Hyper-V).

So, can SMC be loaded in Azure, as Azure is essentially a Hyper-v based cloud.

If not, Time Frame?

Alex,

To clarify further: The current version of the SMC is not tested on Azure or MS Hyper-V. Therefore Cisco makes no claims whether or not it can be loaded or run in those environments.

I can tell you or Cloud license products have been tested on AWS and are available via Cisco.com or the AWS 'Store'. Support for the Cloud license on Microsoft Azure is being investigated and is on the 18 month Stealthwatch roadmap.
