topic Cloud analytics on premise sensor proxy issue in Security Analytics

I have deployed the ISO for an on premise sensor running 5.1.1 in VMware. I have set a proxy variable in /opt/obsrvbl-ona/config.local same as the older 4.3 sensor. The new install wont connect to the cloud portal and I can see in Splunk that it is not trying to use the proxy at all. apt-get works through the proxy just fine. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot or fix this issue?

Hi Tim -

You are probably best off doing a proxy bypass for the ONA connection, but if that is not an option in your environment try adding the 'OBSRVBL_SERVICE_KEY' variable to the config.local file as well.
