When the MX800 registered in cloud is paired with the PC via 'Cisco Proximity 4.0.0' it still try to connect directly over the Internet instead of using the enterprise proxy. The Webex Teams client application use the proxy with no issues. Is this a known issue or limitation?

Hi Nithin,

I want to detail the scenario:

codec is registered on cloud and the proximity token is negotiated on the cloud as well so it’s not the usual proximity we use for on-premises devices.

Also, that it’s working just fine with webex teams app, the app recognizes the proxy and send the request to the proxy and then establish the connection with webex, the issue is present only on proximity app 4.0.0.

Proximity app sends the request directly to webex networks ignoring the enterprise proxy, please ask why proximity app try to connect with cloud, if it’s a limitation, known issue, if there is any workaround.

Regards
