NDFC multisite question

Hello experts.

I'm new to NDFC and got stuck for several days in a seemingly straightforward task in a super simple multisite setup between only two BGWs -- one at each site (each site's fabric also has a spine and a leaf, that's it). The two BGWs are directly connected via E1/7 on both devices ; not via any ISN or core routers. But the CDP is NOT working on the link between the two BGWs due to the restriction of the environment. The BGWs have been put in the right role, and the 2 fabrics in a MSD. For whatever reason, the configurations pushed to them do not have anything related to the interface E1/7. I feel I'm missing something here, but not sure what to do. I'm wondering if this is because the CDP is not working on E1/7, so the templates don't know it's the DCI interface. If this is the reason, should NDFC provide me a straightforward way to indicate that the E1/7 is the interface to connect the two BGWs? I've also check some youtube videos but they all have a ISN with core routers in between, so the interfaces are automatically discovered.

forgot to mention, the lab environment is ND 3.2.2/NDFC 12.2(3). All switches are N9kv in EVE-NG

what version of nexus 9Kv you using, until i see some Limitation, in the real device we dont see any issue the one mentioned.

if you using any 10.X NexusV code that should work as expected in the Lab.

I used to in 10X Nexus spine and leaf as Lab and works as expected.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm using 9.4(5)M, should be the recommended version. I will try 10.x. Thanks again.
