Why Cisco announced EOL dates of Cisco Media Sense 11.5 (latest avialable release), any roadmap ?

I was scratching my head to find out why cisco has suddenly announced EOL dates of Media Sense, were there serious issues with it ?

Last month I proposed it to one customer, now I had to inform him about its EOL and looking for alternate solution might be 3rd party recording solution.

I know, community members may not know exact reason but looking for some information on it (like future roadmap for Cisco' recording platform) if somebody knows.
