Sorry there is no such thing.

the only management is out of band is the Virtual machine console to CUCM, but that is pretty much by default. there is no option to assign a second interface and a second IP just for management purposes, if thats what you mean

CUCM out of band management?

Hi All,

Quick little question because I can't find the answer.

Does CUCM support an out of band management connection? when I install the virtual appliance it comes with 1 ethernet interface. What I'd like is to add a 2nd interface for out of band management. It feels a little strange having the IP address for both management and device communication - a possible security risk exposing your management subnet on the same subnet where IP Phones connect? (or is that just me over thinking things?)

Many Thanks,

Tom
