Hello everyone,

we are planning to upgrade a customer's 9.1 cluster to 12.x. Now, there are some concerns regarding the licensing.

There are 1100 UCL/UWL licenses, which do not have SWSS any more. Do we need completely new 12.x licenses? Or is it possible to migrate them as usual?

Please give me some advice on this.

Thank you!

Best Regards,

Hi vp,

For customers with no active SWSS contract, majore upgrades must be ordered with SWSS.

You have to use the Top level part number : UCL-UCM-UPG-K9

After that you have to select correct number of licenses. For example use "UPG-CUCM-USR" to migrate existing enhanced licenses to UC Manager enhanced.

Regards,

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

Thanks. That's great! So, it is possible to migrate UCL licenses without an active SWSS to new licenses with new SWSS. Am I understanding that correctly?

The customer also has CUWL Standard and CUWL Professional licenses, is it possible to migrate them too?

Best Regards,

Viet
