Do I need add CUCM with CUBE to get CUBE to work. I am new to Cisco SIP and not for sure if I need to add CUCM

Cube is just an SBC, session border controller. It can be used to connect with an ITSP to most phone systems. As long as you can create a SIP trunk between the phone system and the Cube.
