Hello,

I am trying to build a private lab for myself as a test environment. For this purpose I would like to connect my CallManager with CIPC.
The question is; Do I need a Windows Server, DNS etc.? ?
or in other words, what do I need to build this environment ?

I am grateful for any suggestion.

Windows Server, DNS etc will be required if you are going to try AD integrations, jabber etc...

For a start you need to have CUCM and couple of phones/soft phones. get one router and you can try gateway features. Use one router to simulate the PSTN.
