CUCM vSphere 6.7 compatibility

I'm looking to upgrade to vSphere 6.7. I want to check to see if CUCM 12.0(x) is compatible with the updated version of vSphere. Looking at the matrix compatibility link below, it does not show support for this combination. However, CUCM 11.5 and 12.5 note on this matrix that they do support vSphere 6.7. Is it a typo that this was left off or does CUCM 12.0(x) actually not support vSphere 6.7.

Effort in testing and development used to go to the long term releases, the x.5 releases. 12.0 is already EOS and only 3 months away from no longer receiving any new SW updates.

I'd strongly suggest you change your plan and also include an upgrade to 12.5 which would require 6.7 SU2 to run

As @Jaime Valencia suggested, I would recommend to first upgrade CUCM to 12.5 and then perform vSphere upgrade.

Per the compatibility matrix 12.5 should support both versions 6.5 and 6.7 of ESXi. Where did you get the information that it only supports 6.7 SU2?

What version are you currently on for ESXi? Knowing that would help in making recommendations for the path you could take.

Unified Communications Manager 12.5 requires minimum ESXi version of 6.5 U2 with minimum VM Hardware version of 13.

Even if the chart does not specifically mention that it supports ESXi 6.7 for CRS 12.0 release it's very likely that it would work for you. I do however agree with both my peers that you should be best of to plan for an upgrade to 12.5 also as part of this journey.

I checked internally and the official answer is that it is NOT supported, an upgrade to 12.5 would be required to support ESXi 6.7
