setup a hunt pilot number

I'm trying to setup a pilot number for people from outside to call for customer support. So, I created a line group and assigned several DNs. Then, I created Hunt List and added Line group I just created. Next, I created hunt pilot number and configured with the Hunt List I just created. Are there any other things I have to do to activate the pilot number? Can hunt pilot number be DID? If I call the pilot number from my cell phone, it goes to our main greeting. I will appreciate any help. Thanks.

No, that's it, you simply need to dial whatever DN you assigned to it.

Yes, it can be a DID, makes no difference.

You probably need to fix something in your call routing if it's not working as expected, check all the basics, CSS, partitions, etc.

Why will you do that. There is no need, once the call hits the Hunt Pilot, it rolls down further to the Hunt list and eventually to the Line Group which contains your agents DN
