topic Cisco IP Phone 7962 & Plantronics CS500XD Disconnects after short time in Unified Communications Infrastructure

I had been using this combination ( Cisco IP Phone 7962 & Plantronics CS500XD ) without any issues for several months when suddenly my headset would begin dropping calls after 30 seconds to one minute into a call. We replaced the battery and then the head set. Our IT department has been trying to find a solution. They have checked and rechecked the electronic hook solution mentioned in other threads. They've tried changing the connection cable (APC-41) and have altered some other settings in the phone. While it now takes 2-3 minutes for it to happen, my calls all eventually disconnect from the headset.

No one seems to have a clue why this is happening and it is pretty frustrating. I'm just an end user, not an IT guy, but someone must have a way to fix this issue.

FWIW, I do also use the Cisco IP Phone 7915 Expansion Module, but that has been present all along even when everything worked great.
