Jamie as always you have the right answer. For those of us not as smart as you however, can you provide some additional detail. I note that there is a drop down window and I can select the users UDP in the Device under Extension Mobility. Is there a way to BAT this or do I have to go to each individual device and set it? Thanks!

Autuo Assign Extension Mobility to Phones? BE5K to BE6K

In the process of moving from BE5K to BE6K we were able to use BAT and get phones, users and profiles into the new system. None of the phones have lines as users move around and log into phone using the extension mobility defined in the device profile. When we cut the new system into service moving phones from old to new, the phones show as registered in Call Manger but are unable to access the service to select Extension Mobility and get their User and Line assignment. Is there a way for the administrator to assign a profile to a device, so that when the device comes online the profile is already there?

When you enable EM under the devices, there's an option to use a UDP as the logged out profile.

Depends, if you want to use a default UDP for the phones to show up, maybe for internal/emergency calls, you can use BAT to set the same UDP for all devices, if you want to set the user's UDP on their own phone, meaning a different setting for every phone, you would need to export the device info, and then change as necessary before using the updated file to import the phone config. Or, do it manually on every phone.
