Community,

After doing some looking with various searches, I am unable to find a definitive answer to my problems. I am currently using CUCM 8.0.x. We are getting ready to migrate to another server, and need to export my phones, so I can import them into the new system. However, the BAT is not processing the job to export the specific details. When looking at the job scheduler, it shows the processes as "Incomplete". When I look at the "Upload/Download" files list, there are files in there that I no longer need and wanted to delete them. Upon selecting that file and selecting "delete", the system tells me that it is unable to delete the file. I'm not sure what service is related to the BAT, or if restarting whatever service it is will fix these issues. In addition, the Disaster Recovery Service is unable to communicate with my SFTP file server any more.

What I need to know is what service I need to restart, or if there is something I need to do to fix these issues. Thank you for your time.

Hi Aaron!

Thanks for responding. I went to look at the reports, and get an error every time. I actually cannot generate any of the reports. The best date I get is about 30 March, when we got our last weekly update from the Disaster Recovery Service. I remember the system overheated on Easter due to an Air Conditioner failure, with an ambient temperature of 95 degrees F. We kind of have a unique situation when it comes to that kind of thing. I'm begining to think that we may have, for lack of a better term, fried our Call Manager Server. Either way, it's about to go out of system. I think I'll just chalk this one up as a loss.

Hi Adam,

The server going into read only mode locked up the database for that server and would definitely cause an issue with Backup etc. Recovery disk is the best option to recover from it.

You can easily download the ISO file for a recovery disk from CCO and burn it to a disk.

http://software.cisco.com/download/find.html?q=Communications+Manager&task=default&psaMode=AP

Also, refer the following doc to run the recovery disk.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a0080b1f305.shtml

HTH,

Jagpreet Singh Barmi
