    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I have a fresh install of CUCM 8.6&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can log into the CLI via the VSphere Client and also log in via web access to the CUCM pages of &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- disaster recovery&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- OS admin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However I cannot log in via web access to the CUCM pages of:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- unified reporting&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- unified servicability&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- unified cm administration&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I understand these three are controlled by the Application password ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Therefore, I tried to change the applciation password by issuing the command "set password user admin" from the CLI but that only changed the log in details of &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- disaster recovery&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- OS admin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I still have no access to the three problem pages mentioned above. I just get the message "Log on failed - Invalid User ID or Password".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone please offer a suggestion.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ps. i am not using any LDAP user databases etc. It is just a very simple lab envirionment of CUCM 8.6.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks kindly for any help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;First of all, in CUCM, there are three different types of user ids:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL start="1"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;CUCM administrator (login the CLI, cmplatform and dfs)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;CUCM application id (login the ccmadmin, ccmservice and ccmreports )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;CUCM security password (publisher synchronization between nodes)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want to change the type 2 password, you need to login in CLI and type the following command:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for changing the ui login name:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;utils reset_ui_administrator_name&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for changing the ui login password:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;﻿utils reset_ui_administrator_password﻿&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The following figure is shown both ui name and password are changed using above two commands.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="http://s5.sinaimg.cn/large/a7495f14gcfde59dd3c54&amp;amp;690" class="jive-image" src="http://s5.sinaimg.cn/large/a7495f14gcfde59dd3c54&amp;amp;690" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
